My name is Kirili. I grew up obsessed with pollypockets, tamogotchis and a boy band called Hanson.
Since then, my obsessions have become more refined with wine, chocolate, cheese, dumplings (I think you get the gist...). I have called Canberra home for the best part of 30 years and there’s a very good chance it will be my home for the next 30. There are some spectacular venues around Canberra and it's a great place to have a wedding!
I am a fully qualified naturopath, science graduate/perpetual student (currently undertaking my master of business administration), sport nut and a crafter-noon extraordinaire. I like to think I have a solid grasp on reality and what being in love is all about- the good, the bad and the ugly. I share each day with my true loves; my little daughter, my big bulldog and my goofball husband.
I decided to become a celebrant because weddings are fun, love is grand and the social arrangement of marriage is evolving and I want to be part of it. I want a couple to remember their ceremony and celebrant for the right reasons. A ceremony isn't the 'boring part' before the party, it is the start of the party that really sets the mood for the rest of the day. A ceremony is a simple way to let people in your lives know that your commitment is true, two people in love, both on the same team. My approach with ceremonies is to keep them relaxed, light hearted and fun.
